Re: Connecting to a Microsoft Proxy Server



As others have noted, Microsoft Proxy Server does support SOCKS. This feature must be enabled by the administrator. Having done that you can install the SOCKS client and use:

runsocks apt

to use apt. I'm not sure if runsocks comes with the debian package. You might have to download the source and compile yourself if not.
