I am using a NVidia TNT2 card with XF4.0.2, following are my directories:
in /usr/lib:
remove old libGL.* and put NVidia libraries inorder to have:
/usr/lib/libGLcore.so.1 -> libGLcore.so.1.0.5
/usr/lib/libGLcore.so.1.0.5
/usr/lib/libGL.so -> libGL.so.1.0.5
/usr/lib/libGL.so.1 -> libGL.so.1.0.5
/usr/lib/libGL.so.1.0.5
/usr/lib/libGLU.so -> libGLU.so.1.3
/usr/lib/libGLU.so.1 -> libGLU.so.1.3
/usr/lib/libGLU.so.1.3
/usr/lib/libGLw.a
in /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions
remove libglx.a (and another library I forget !) to have this:
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libdbe.a
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libdri.a
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libextmod.a
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.so -> libglx.so.1.0.5
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.so.1.0.5
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libpex5.a
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/librecord.a
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libxie.a
DONT FORGET THAT YOU LOSE ALL THIS MODIFICATIONS WHEN UPGRADING XFREE86
PACKAGES !!!!
Laurent.
