There's so many things that are happening here I'm not sure where to
start! I think you'll need to give us some more specifics before
anyone can help.

How are you doing DNS? Are you using your ISP's DNS and thus have
their IP addresses in /etc/resolv.conf? Which MTA are you using, Exim,
Postfix, sendmail, etc.? What MUA are you using, Mutt, Pine, Elm,
GNUS, etc.?  Do you have your MTA set up to use a smart host or to try
and do the delivery itself? Is your mail queue empty or is the mail
you sent setting in there? Did you check the logs for your MTA?

Answers to at least some of these questions will give a person a
better place to try and start helping you.
