snd problem

Hello,

I've a potato upgraded into a woody, kernel 2.2.17-i386 rebuilt for my computer with es1371 module and I'm using snd_4.7-1. sound card is SoundBlaster 128 PCI.

I record the radio with snd in header:wave, data:short, srate:22050, chans:1 (joining both inputs). That's fine.
I can read the recorded file and play it from the beginning.
But when I make a selection and try 'Play Selection', I'm returned the following errors :

[21:43:23] data format 1 (big endian short (16 bits)) not available on /dev/dsp
  [audio.c[2091] oss_mus_audio_open_output]
[21:43:23] can't play snd
(data format 1 (big endian short (16 bits)) not available on /dev/dsp
  [audio.c[2091] oss_mus_audio_open_output])
  [snd-dac.c[1744] start_audio_output_1]

I can't understand why I can play the whole thing but not a part of it.
Could some help me please ?

Nicolas.
