Odd, I do not use the -h when I call lpr and have this in my printcap
:sh:pw#80:pl#60:px#1440:mx#0:\
And do _not_ get a burst page. My print is down (ran out of ink) so I
can't check that right now. Wish my laser hadn't broke down. :(

Plug-and-Play is really nice, unfortunately it only works 50% of the time.
To be specific the "Plug" almost always works. --unknown source
