Carefully re-run pppconfig. Looks like your modems were talking but your
isp didn't connect - that means either username or password are not correct.

btw - I have had prob's with pppconfig - it will not delete the older file
and pulls password out of the wrong file - I remove them by hand. Safe bet
is to make a completely new account like 'myisp'. go thru, add the number,
the modem port, user and password etc and save it. Next, do 'pon myisp'.
on another console (alt F2) run 'plog -f'. this will give you blow by
blow account of what is happening. when you are online you can kill plog
with a simple ctrl+c.
