Starting NFS servers:Cannot register service: RPC: Unable to send; errno = Operation not permitted
If I change my /etc/exports file, I think all I should need to do is run
/etc/init.d/nfs-server restart. But when I do this, I get the error
message:
# init.d/nfs-server restart
Stopping NFS servers: mountd nfsd.
Starting NFS servers:Cannot register service: RPC: Unable to send; errno =
Operation not permitted
Why is this?
At the moment the only way I can get things to work again is to reboot my
machine!
Cheers,
Mark.
