Re: keyboard auto repeat in X stops



  use xset to set the repeat and other stuff (mouse acceleration/speed/
monitor dpms...) (man xset)

  not sure why it happens, probably one of the programs that you run
sets the autorepeat off...

  login out and login back in using xdm restarts X server AFAIK
