Re: dpkg 1.7.1 errors

If it's any consolation, I have been getting the same errors. I have 70Mb in uninstalled upgrades because of this.

I have ftp'd xterm, apt, and debconf to re-install to no avail.

Maybe we have to await someone more knowledgeable?
