RE: memory problem
Put this line in your lilo.conf file:
append="mem=128M"
at the end of the file. Commit the changes to your lilo.conf file by
running /sbin/lilo. Reboot, and you should be in business (you can verify
by running top).

put 'mem=128M' in lilo.conf somewhere. I do not know precisely where, but
that is where you should take a look.
