I had no problems with it.  I'd be checking a couple of things

a) did the file download properly?  Have you verified the md5sum
of the file against the md5sum downloadable from Linuxcare?

b) Did you definitely burn the CD specifying that it was an image
rather than burning the file itself? (it sounds like you did, from
the above)

c) Is boot from CD enabled in your BIOS?

PS: talking of bootable CDs, the SUSE 7 Live file system CD is really
nice too! (IMHO)
