I have a similar problem with my roommate's Win2k box. (*hiss* *hiss* *kill*)
I get lots of entries like this in my syslog:
---begin---
Nov 3 00:31:10 Wyvern named[401]: unapproved update from [192.168.0.4].4725 for localdomain
Nov 3 00:31:10 Wyvern named[401]: unapproved update from [192.168.0.4].4731 for 0.168.192.in-addr.arpa
---end---
..where 192.168.0.4 is the Win2k box.
[Wyvern is actually a RH62 box, but hey. I'm working on it. =]
I'd be interested in knowing the cause.
