Fw: Boot-time Usenet warning on cvalle

Hi,

I've installed Debian as a partition to my Windows98 laptop...I'm a new user
to Debian/Linux and I've been getting these emails at work. I've been asked
to change the name of my machine (which is apparently 'fux'), but I don't
know how to go about doing this. I've been getting emails like this for 2
weeks now. I do remember choosing the name 'fux' at one point during the
installation, in which a more experienced Linux user was walking me through
it. I would greatly appreciate it if you could tell me how to solve this
problem. It seems that emails are being sent to 'root'@yellowbrix.com and
then forwarded to my box (fux). I need to stop this from happening.

Thanks so much!

Carol
