What's your news server, and what are the permissions on the file in question? leafnode is very sensitive to file permissions, everything under /var/spool/news should be owned by leafnode.leafnode. Not sure about inn, which is the usual other suspect. /var/spool/news/control doesn't exist in my leafnode spool. -- Karsten M.
