debs, i installed potato, like usual. via pon, i can dialout to my isp, but i don't know if there's a connect since i can't ping--the cursor just goes to the next line and waits. i triple checked the dns entries and the other pppconfig stuff. i can ping myself, but nothing else...not natural.... further, i don't have a /var/log/ ppp.log, so i can't see what's really going on. ...suggestions? ia, t. bentley taylor.
