apache doesn't find user

i'm using debian 2.2 (apache 1.3.9) 

i created with htpasswd a passwordfile and included it in httpd.conf 

httpd.conf:
...
<Directory /web/klbg/funkspruch>
AuthType Basic
AuthName "itnernal"
AuthUserFile /web/pass/klbg/user
require valid-user
</Directory>
---

after the update to debian 2.2 it doesn't work any more. i createt 
the user-file again under 2.2

i only get following error, but i'm not able to find something about it 
in the internet:

a valid FDN: /funkspruch/dp/dienstplan.pdf

can someone help me???
