Hello List: Just ran a dist-upgrade from woody, kde2, helixcode. Now gedit opens a display as non-root user, but as root, says Xlib: connection :0.0 refused by server Xlib: client is not authorized to connect to server gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0 there is an environment variable \ 'DISPLAY=:0' for user and root. Had no trouble with this prior to upgrade. Can you help? Thanks, Bill
