I'm unable to read William's posts for some reason, so I'm responding
indirectly.
If this modem is a USR Model 1610A (or just 1610, not sure now) 56k Dual
Faxmodem PCI, let me know (Its still being sold). I have this and its
not a winmodem, but it defaults to com5 in the Windows world. You can
also search the web with the model number and other keywords to find the
answers that I found when I looked.
