Debian sucks less.

Research the question -- it shows up here at least a few times a months.
Deja and Google are other resources.  Better yet, roll both out on a
system if it's going to matter that much to you, and put them through
the paces for a week or so.  We can't tell you how you're going to
respond to them.

Debian has a simple, solid core philosophy reflected in its tools,
packaging, configuration, and administration.  It makes my life easier.
That's why I migrated to it last year after 2.5 years of RH hell.
