When I try to telnet into my potato machine, I get a "connected to" message followed by "Connection closed by foreign host" and a disconnect. /etc/inetd.conf shows: telnet stream tcp nowait telnetd.telnetd /usr/sbin/tcpd /usr/sbin/in.telnetd This looks normal to me.
