Re: non-root login causes X (gnome) to restart itself



hi ya...

when you first login into X....change it to KDE ... under sessions
and see if it works....

than try it under gnome..... if it still flashes...
you need to create .xinitrc and/or .xsession
or equiv for gnome whatever default its looking for...
	- some gnomes works on mine...some fails...

i tend to use kde anyway....less crashes when i have 20-40 xterms running
