The eastern states went 1 hour ahead at 2am today (Sunday Aug
27), presumably to maximise solar energy collections and sunblock
sales during the Olympic Games.
More sensible states (WA (Perth), SA (Adelaide)) resisted the
urge, and go ahead in a month or two.
