Probs printing PS files with lprng/magicfilter/gs on a NEC P7 (parport)

Hi out there,

I've got Problems to print PostScript files with lprng/magicfilter/gs
on a NEC P7 connected to the parallel port.

I don't know what's being wrong, printing of an ASCII file works.
That means, /etc/printcap, /etc/lpd.conf, /etc/lpd.perms seem ok.
Perhaps any incompatibilities with the "exotic" PPro?
Does anyone know anything about?

regards for help
Albrecht
