mail aliased --> gone?
in /etc/aliases i've got
postmaster: root
root: will
and i used to get mail tagged for root, forwarded
to my 'will' mailbox.
since using mutt (i think that's the changeover point)
i've not been getting any root email.
i try
% mail root
Subject: whatever
where y'at?
Cc:
%
and it disappears.
my .muttrc contains only <<EOF
ignore "from " received content- mime-version status x-status message-id
ignore sender references return-path lines
macro index \eb '/~b ' 'search in message bodies'
set use_domain
unset write_bcc
set abort_nosubject=ask-yes
set alias_file="~/.muttrc"
unset askbcc
unset askcc
set folder="~/Mail"
lists debian-user
set sort=threads
set sort_aux=reverse-date-received
EOF
i'm on frozen(potato) with exim and mutt.
where should i look?
