This might be a good idea. Actually people at Macsyma, Inc. wrote
their own maxlatex with many other features like corerect handling of
binomials etc. Their code is based on the orginal code of mactex.lisp
by Fateman. The license of Fateman code is ambigous. I wonder
whether we can convince them to contribute the maclatex back to the
free soft community.
