Hi,
I think you have a hardware related problem, because:
memtest 86 should give you 1 memory pass per hour
at least on my system Athlon 600 with 256MB RAM on an EPOX Board
with VIA KX133-Chipset.
What says memtest86 (zero pass)?
is the windmill still rotating?
Do you have a proper power supply?
Athlon-Systems need good Memory and a good Power-supply
On my system however there is a 235W Powersupply with 22A on
the 5V line and i have PC100 SDRAM (generic and low-cost).
No problems till now (The System is about one week old).
Oh and by the way , what Revision is your Athlon (0.18u or 0.25u process)?
You can identifie this with last letter on the Product ID. A stands for 0.18
and C for 0.25.
The C Version wants more power.
