Hmm; well, 'ipchains' answers to its name but 'modprobe ipchains' says
it knows of no such module. Then 'ipmasq' answers to -its- name but
says "IP Masquerading has not been enabled in the kernel." So looks
like a future of kernel-hacking may be ahead...?
