RE: Status of RIVA TNT2 3D Support in XFree86 4.0...?
There is 3d support, using GLX. It doesnt use DRI (to wite directly to
the hardware, which means it's not as fast as it could be. See slashdot
(today's edition, infact) for an excelent discussion on the topic.
