Track down the problem with your harddisk first, this could be the
reason for your trouble. Check cables, and install hdparm. With hdparm
you can tune some timeout and transfer settings of your harddisk.
Because the logging looks as the drive would go to standby and then
reset.

For the network I don't know, this could be something related to samba, 
which is confused, because hda is not available ?
