sometimes it can be due to a mismatched configuration, most BIOSs
(Award/AMI dont think phoenix tho) have the option for the mode
LBA/LARGE/NORMAL depending on how the drive is set there, if the drives on
the primary controller are set to LARGE and the ones on the secondary set
to LBA it can cause this, although ive never seen it cause a problem.
