lpr stopped working after upgrade



After the following upgrade (certain potato packages on slink) my lpr
stopped working.  Is there a way to get it back again?  Installing lpr
from potato did not help.

Apt-get reports the following:

The following extra packages will be installed:
  libfltk-dev g++ wxgtk2.1 libstdc++2.10 cpp gcc xlib6g libc6-dev
  libstdc++2.10-dev libfltk1 libc6 binutils ldso
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  timezones libstdc++2.9-dev libncurses4-dev
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  wxgtk2.1 python-wxwin libstdc++2.10 libstdc++2.10-dev libfltk1
9 packages upgraded, 5 newly installed, 3 to remove and 528 not upgraded.
Need to get 5322kB/11.9MB of archives. After unpacking 14.0MB will be
used.
