Yes!  In the 2.2 kernels there is an option in the network configuration
(use make menuconfig or make xconfig) for adding support for external
masquerading tools for protocols that ipmasq does not support.

select "masquerading special modules support"

and read the help for the 

"ipautofw masq support (EXPERIMENTAL)"

option.
