dselect/apt via non-NAT firewall
Is it possible to use dselect/apt via a non network address
translating (proxying) firewall?
Available are socks and a user@host ftp. (i.e. to connect to
ftp.debian.org as ftp, I 'ftp proxy' user 'ftp@ftp.debian.org'
password whatever.)
Unfortunately our system administrator only understands Windows
and won't move to a real firewall/proxy; he's married to Wingate
because it's the only system he understands.
