I don't know. When I run ./configure, I see the message:

Build type: linux-g++-shared
Compile flags: -I$(QTDIR)/src/3rdparty/zlib -I$(QTDIR)/src/3rdparty/libpng
Link flags:
GIF supports: no
Creating makefiles...
Qt is now configured for building. Just run make.
To reconfigure, run make clean and configure.
