So then /var/lib/dpkg/available should be updated after an apt-get
update, right ?
I just did an apt-get update right now but /var/lib/dpkg/available still
has an old timestamp:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 311973 Dec 14 23:38 /var/lib/dpkg/available
I would think that this file would be updated each time after an apt-get
update.
