Re: dpkg doesn't work offline?



you could try the same in screen

load screen (type screen)

then type something like

sleep 90 ; dpkg -i <the package>

and 90 seconds after you press enter it will run that command..for a 1
time deal i find screen/sleep much easier then cron :) and it has never
failed for me.
