I am not aware of any ADSL internal modems. I am currently using an
Orkit FastInternet ADSL modem that I got with my installation from GTE.
I use a "cheap" Edimax 100Mbs Mod.# EN-9130TX, ethernet card. It has a
Realtek chip 8139 that IS SUPPORTED IN THE LINUX KERNEL. It worked the
first time out of the box after I rebuilt the kernel to support it.
What's funny is that I had to "program" the chip to get it to work with
windows :-))
Good luck!
