(My ADSL modem is about as large as a kleenex box.) But they will probably give you an ethernet card. You'll probably get a D-link PCI something or other, and the chances of that card working are near 100% :-). You can ask exactly what kind of card it is and see if the card is listed in the Hardware Compatibility HOWTO, which is at http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/Hardware-HOWTO.html . Hope that helps.
