I am having problems with gnumeric. When I tried it for the first time after making a full apt-get from the slink update of gnome packages, I got Unable to connect to UNIX socket /tmp/ .esd/socket and afterwards a small window opened saying unable to open module file :/usr/lib/gnumeric/plugins/libpython.so: undefined _Py_NoneStruct so I apt-get installed python-base, after which the problem persits. Any ideas? Please help. Thanks, Antonio.
