How to install Debian over dynamic ip address from dhcp

Hello,

I'd like to get a Linux gateway running on a cable modem connection. Unfortunately, the cable company uses dhcp to dynamically allocate ip addresses.

Is it difficult to somehow modify the Debian boot floppies to first run the dhcp client to get the ip address, and then install Debian over apt/http/ftp/NFS?

Thank you for any information or pointers.
