packaging question

Hello all,

I was trying to find a newer version of a package and was looking in potato then realized that the potato version is quite old. I find this very strange since potato isn't even released yet! I started looking at some of the other packages and most of them were this way. So my question for the list is: Why is potato outdated when its not even released yet?

TIA,

Ron
