Hi Li Bing:

I want you to read my diatribe, but I do give the information
you requested, below.

I own some stock in Red Hat, but I recommend Debian to my students
and colleagues. I use Debian at home and at work. We use Debian on
our Linux machines at work. That should tell you something about my
opinion of the Debian distribution.

Debian has a slightly cranky install, unless you use Apt, which
makes things easier than dselect and dpkg. If something goes wrong
(say you have a difficult to configure video card) you will find
superb, quick help right here on the Debian list. Many of our
developers read this list and respond, quickly, clearly and in a
useful way.

There is a bunch more are like me, lurkers, somewhat knowledgable,
but willing to help as much as our knowledge will allow.

That said, I've searched Web for "Red Hat mailing lists", and have
found this URL:

	 http://www.redhat.com/support/mailing-lists/

I STILL recommend that you seriously consider Debian. (OK, OK, I
don't have _that_ much Red Hat stock, but it sounds good.;)

Seriously, I do wish you luck and much fun in your use of Linux.
