Hello, After more reading and experimenting, I was able to get the CDROM to be seen by adding the following command to the cdrom.opts file in /etc/pcmcia CORE_OPTS="unreset_delay=1000" My next task is to get my ppa zip drive to work, so I can start backing up my system!
