Re: VMware+DOS network

You can get the driver at ftp://ftp.crynwr.com/drivers/amdpd.zip
Unarchive it and install pcntpk.com on your vmware dos system.

It is run by invoking:

pcntpk int=0x60 (should be in the range 0x60 to 0x80).

It will respond with a message like:

Packet driver for an PCNTPK, version 02.20
Packet driver skeleton copyright 1988-92, Crynwr Software.
This program is free software; see the file COPYING for details.
NO WARRANTY; see the file COPYING for details.

Packet driver is at segment 0D7F
Interrupt number 0x9 (9)
I/O port 0x1000 (4096)
My Ethernet address is 00:50:56:81:01:01

The driver uses 18k of memory. You can specify I/O address, DMA, etc.
Type "pcntpk /?" for more information. Note--the COPYING file is not in
the zip archive (it sounds like the GNU file, however).
