RealPlayer G2 sound

Hi all.
I installled the mentioned above application about 3 days ago, and
it works perfectly in root mode.
However, when a user tries to run it, the sound coming out of speakers is
static. User can play any other apps like x11amp normally.
Anyone know what the problem might be and how to fix it? 2.2.11,
libc2.0.7, G2 alpha
