This is the catch... I've used the debian disk images (1.44) many times to install on
many different machines. I've downloaded and created these images a few times and
used different methods of cration (rawrite and dd). They do everything great for me
_except_ alter the MBR. I think that lilo ususally gets only to the second L after
using them (LIL-) and crashes. In the rare occasion that I used a install disk for
this purpose I would mount the partition execute a shell, and type "/target/sbin/lilo
-C /target/etc/lilo.conf"
