Hi, there:

A very nice GUI for faxing in linux is Xfax by Kees Lemmens and J.-P. Demailly.
The latest version can be found at ftp://ta.twi.tudelft.nl/pub/dv/lemmens/ 
with version 2.08.

I prefer Xfax to other GUIs for efax.
