 It's almost certainly a Plug-'n'-Pray card, and thus you probably need to
use isapnptools to configure it before you can use it. See the Sound-HOWTO
for the details, but in essence...

 1. Compile sound as a module.
 2. Use isapnp to configure the card, assign IRQ's and such
 3. Insert the module into the kernel.
 4. Play sound.

 I just got rid of a SB32 (broken joystic port) and so I still have a
config file for one, which might conceivably work for your card on your
system. Fortunately, isapnpdump usually creates a valid config file by
itself, so try that first.
