OK, who took my 'red' ?

The colors in mutt are all OK except for red which is substituted by 'white bold', for eg. in the thread tree, x-mailing list, etc. Oh, and the highlight on the current message is an ugly grey-on-cyan instead of the expected white-on-red.
Any clues ? I want my red !!!! ;-)
