Your EHLO is broken. That host probably requires a fully qualified domain
name. www.<what?>

Just www will probably not work. This is LIKELY due to your /etc/hosts
being incorrect.

Try

<ip-address>	<fully-qualified-name>	<hostname>

1.2.3.4		myhost.mydomain.com	myhost

I suspect you have it like this:

1.2.3.4		myhost	myhost.mydomain.com


Or you have entered just the hotname www in your exim config.
